For those who know me, I am a collector of trivial information. My brain soaks it up like a sponge and stores it in the Rolodex file that is my brain to be recalled at some random point later. So I thought it would be fun to have a random factoid that I pick up… maybe not a daily thing, but at least once a week, in hopes that some random fact of trivia will help you in your life. Even if that’s just winning a $50 bar tab.
So, without further ado, here is today’s random factoid:
The difference between a “boat” and a “ship” is not the size of the vessel. Based on their respective centers of gravity, when making a turn, a boat will lean into the turn, whereas a ship will lean out of the turn.
